Good afternoon!
I have been thinking that I would have time to read books with being at home all of the time, but I have been busy creating lessons, teaching my own children, cleaning, and sewing. It is crazy how busy I have been while just being home. I am going to finally start a book tonight. I am really excited to read. My book is about one of my shows that I enjoyed watching. Your directions are to write 5 or more sentences about your last book that you read. 1. Put the title and author. 2. Tell me about who is in the story, where it takes place, and what happened at the beginning, middle, end of the story. 3. What was your favorite part? 4. You can add anything else that you would like to tell me about the story. :)

I knew the snow was coming last night, but man it is so cold! I am ready for Spring Showers. What about you?
I want you to look at this picture and pay attention to details. I would like you to comment and write 3 detailed sentences about the picture. What do you notice? What do you like? Where do you think it is at? What time of day? Any details that stand out? WOW! What a weekend! My son went to Casper, WY to spend time with his dad. The rest of my family and I cleaned house, played outside, watched TV, and best of all I finally got my Easter decorations up. I am quite disappointed that we won't have the big Egg Hunt.
Now, syllables are fun! You may remember figuring out syllables by clapping or counting how many vowel sounds are in the word. For example, dog has one clap and only one vowel sound. So, dog has one syllable. Puppy: 2 claps, 2 vowel sounds (u and y), 2 syllables Butterfly: 3 claps, 3 vowel sounds (u, er, y), 3 syllables Watch video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S7DY2lgJlU Now Your turn. Come up with one word that is one syllable, one word this has 2 syllables, and a word that has 3 syllables. 1, 2, 3 GO!! Good afternoon everyone!
Today, it is foggy, chilly, and a little snowy. I can't believe today's weather. Yesterday and the day before were gorgeous days! My sons and I made some bread today and will be starting to make some soup here shortly. While we make bread and soup, we have to follow a recipe. Now, recipes have a list of ingredients such as flour, milk, and butter. Recipes also have instructions on how to make it. In the comments later today, I am going to have my son put the recipe on here for Cheeseburger Soup. For you, I would like you to make a video of you making something. It will be like you are on a cooking show. It can just be part of the making or the whole thing. I then, would like you to comment the recipe below and share your video if you can. If not, you can share it with me on Google Drive and I will post it on my website, if you give me your permission. Then the rest of your friends who are students on here will be able to watch it as well. I will have a video of my son and I making the soup as well. 1. Comment the recipe below. 2. Create a video of you making something. 3. If you have time, check out the show Master Chef Junior or Master Chef. They are fun to watch! Let's get in the kitchen!! Hi everyone! Yesterday and today were beautiful! I am going to start doing a daily blog. When you check my website, please leave a comment as I would love to hear from each one of you.
Today, my boys and I went out with Mrs. Wermager to Mirror Lake and enjoyed the sun, fly fishing, and of course some wind. It was beautiful to just be out in the out doors and trying to do some social distancing. I don't know about you guys, but it is hard just to stay home. I love to be busy. Anyways, today's activity is MATH RHYMING! Please comment a word that rhymes with MATH! How many can we get? Ready, set, go! When done, check out the video! www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSPmGPIyykU You can watch my video as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZY9Q3WEhPE |
